It's summer in the outskirts of Madrid - school
is over, the weather is warm, and the world is full of wonders and
dangers. Milio is thirteen. He wants to grow up to be just like his
“cool” elder brother Luis: strong and handsome, admired by women, feared
by men. But Luis is trying to turn his back on the laws of the barrio;
he wants to be a man, not a hero. Eventually forced to confront his
past, pressed by all to stand up to his destiny, Luis gives a last fight
for all those he loves. When the summer ends, Milio is not a child
anymore.
