- LaSandra Gayle Thomas is the Founder and President of Sweet Pea Productions NC Inc.—a Screenwriter, Director, Producer, and U.S. Army veteran known for her professionalism and storytelling passion. A native of High Point, NC, she served on the Producers Affiliate Council of the Piedmont Triad Film Commission and has worked in film for over a decade. She was Director of Photography for the award-winning documentary The March On An All American City and Executive Producer of The Present, where she also took on multiple production roles. LaSandra's first original feature, A Matter of Heart, is in post-production, with more screenplays in development. She's worked with Rajdeep Media Productions, WSSU, and hosted The Sweet Pea Radio Show on WDRBmedia/iHeart Radio. Inspired by a childhood nickname, Sweet Pea Productions was founded to Depict Hope and tell stories that uplift and inspire.
