Storyline
Leslie Ross, a spirited activist and soul food cook, reluctantly caters a Christmas Eve dinner for the dysfunctional Shaw family. She expects conflict, but instead finds herself in a holiday storm of secrets, rivalries, and a pie-throwing incident. With her neighborhood facing gentrification, and her father's restaurant struggling, she makes a deal with the Shaws, while maintaining her true intentions hidden against them.
